What's in a Name?
Torce Living is made up of a portion of our last name, Torcellini.
"Torce" was a nickname my husband, Scott Torcellini, was given while growing up. Since our product's signature look is done by burning the wood with the Shou Sugi Ban technique, we thought a part of our last name, pronounced "Torch" was very fitting.
Torce Living furniture is designed for ease of comfort and durability. We use high quality wood and administer the Japanese wood preserving technique Shou Sugi Ban on our outdoor products, which helps to not only bring out the natural beauty of the wood without having to use stains, but also weather treats and water proofs it.
The great thing about our products are they are not plastic, therefore they are more environmentally friendly. Because we use the Shou Sugi Ban technique, each piece that is created is done so in a way that no 2 pieces will look exactly the same, therefore all of our products are unique. Different color variations are what make our products stand out and enhance the natural patterns and detail of the wood. Being outside means being in nature, so your furniture should also reflect that feeling of being one with nature.
Scott and Nicole Torcellini are originally from California and decided to make a move to the great state of Texas in 2022 along with their six kids. Torce Living is a family owned business and we currently sell to customers located in North Texas with plans to expand into other parts of the US.
